Prince Talent & Resourcing are working with a National Managed Service provider who need a Technical Site Engineer for an immediate contract. The right candidate will need to be based in Scotland, with a requirement to travel to sites across Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
Skills:
- Ability to interpret and work from complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience designing and installing mechanical, low-voltage electrical, IT, and network equipment.
- Skilled in managing third-party contractors and site-based teams.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Hands-on experience working in industrial environments (e.g. substations).
- Experience leading or supervising on-site engineers and third parties.
- Experience managing and coordinating installations with multiple on-site stakeholders.
- Experience in the energy and renewable energy sectors, ideally in Scotland.
- Understanding of site health & safety controls and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with operational technologies.
Qualifications:
- Relevant technical qualifications in IT, networking, or mechanical/electrical engineering (e.g., HNC/HND, City & Guilds, vendor certifications, or equivalent experience).
- IOSH Managing Safely, CSCS, CCNSG, or equivalent certifications.
- Able to obtain government security clearance.
- Full UK Driving License.
