The Opportunity
We’re working with a fast-growing IT Managed Service Provider looking to appoint a Head of Project Management to lead and scale their project delivery function. This is a high-impact role, working at the forefront of public sector digital transformation—supporting clients across utilities, emergency services, local government, and central government. You’ll play a key role in shaping how projects are delivered, ensuring seamless onboarding of new clients and driving successful outcomes across cyber, IT support, and migration programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the project management function within a growing MSP environment
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT projects across cyber security, managed support, and infrastructure/cloud migrations
- Take ownership of client onboarding, ensuring smooth transition of services into support
- Manage complex onboarding programmes for public sector organisations
- Act as a senior client-facing lead, building strong, long-term relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Implement and refine project governance, processes, and best practice
- Collaborate closely with technical, service delivery, and commercial teams
- Travel to the North West office a couple of times per month to engage with teams and stakeholders
Key Experience Required
- Proven experience leading project delivery within an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Strong background in onboarding clients
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects across: Cyber Security, IT Support / Service Transition, Cloud
