The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Shop Supervisor to help lead our exciting new retail store in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. This is more than just a retail role. It's an opportunity to inspire volunteers, delight customers, and drive sales that directly support outstanding hospice care for local patients and their families.

About the Role
As Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shop, maximising sales and profitability, and ensuring an excellent experience for customers and donors alike. You will lead and support a dedicated team of volunteers, helping to create a welcoming and successful retail environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and achieving agreed income targets
- Managing stock, merchandising and shop presentation
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Managing cash handling and banking procedures
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and retail procedures
- Promoting the Hospice within the local community
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience managing or supervising a team
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach
- The ability to motivate and support volunteers
Experience in charity retail would be advantageous but is not essential.
