The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity located within Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. The hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life-limiting, progressive illness, and support for their families and carers. Bargacree Café in The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is more than a place to eat — it’s a comforting space for patients, families, visitors and staff. We’re looking for a dedicated Café Manager who can deliver outstanding service while helping us generate vital funds for hospice services.
Job Purpose
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the gold-standard care provided across the Hospice.
- Maximise café profitability to ensure every penny possible goes back into supporting patient care.
Role Dimensions
- Work as part of a rota between 8:00am and 5:00pm, 7 days a week.
- Provide hands-on catering support as needed.
- Flexibility to work outwith these hours occasionally for hospice events or functions.
- Monitoring stock and inventory.
- Ensuring smooth, efficient service throughout the day.
Our café team plays a vital role in creating a warm, friendly and consistent experience for everyone who walks through our doors — including patients and families who may be going through difficult moments. You will:

- Coach and support staff to deliver excellent service.
- Foster a positive, compassionate environment for customers and colleagues alike.
