The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity located within Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. The hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life-limiting, progressive illness, and support for their families and carers. Bargacree Café in The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is more than a place to eat — it’s a comforting space for patients, families, visitors and staff. We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant Café Manager who can deliver outstanding service while helping us generate vital funds for hospice services.
To deliver exceptional service to all café customers, upholding the high standards of care and hospitality that reflect the wider Hospice ethos.
Role Dimensions- Provide day‑to‑day catering support on a rota basis between 8:00am and 5:00pm, seven days a week. Occasional work outwith these hours may be required to support Hospice events or functions.
- Act as the senior team member in the Café Manager’s absence, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining stock levels, placing orders, and managing supplier relationships.
Our café team plays a vital role in creating a warm, friendly and consistent experience for everyone who walks through our doors — including patients and families who may be going through difficult moments.
You will:
