Our client, a well-established business based near Whitchurch, is seeking a Transport Administrator to join their team on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to provide operational support whilst a new transport management system is implemented across the business.

As the existing transport team will be heavily involved in the project, you will play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day transport operation continues to run smoothly. Although initially offered as a fixed-term contract, there is potential for the position to become permanent following a review at the end of the project.

The Role

Working as part of a busy transport team, you will provide administrative and communication support to ensure deliveries are effectively coordinated and customers receive excellent service throughout the process. With approximately 50 vehicles operating daily, you will act as a central point of contact between drivers, customers and the transport team.
