Prince are supporting a well-established and growing business in Shrewsbury who are looking to recruit a Warehouse & Site Operative. This role will suit someone who can work independently and self-manage their time. You will be responsible for independently overseeing the warehouse operations from picking and packing items, preparing products for dispatch, dealing with goods in, unloading deliveries, and dealing with stock control.

This role will offer progression that will eventually involve delivering goods across the UK, attending site visits and conducting site surveys, and completing minor product repairs at customer sites when required.

The Warehouse & Site Operative will be responsible for:

  • Independently overseeing a small warehouse
  • Receiving goods in
  • Checking off delivery quantities and quality checking products
  • Picking and packing goods
  • Loading goods ready for dispatch
  • Monitor stock levels
  • Conduct stock counts
  • Make material deliveries when required
  • Attend site visits and carry out site surveys and minor product repairs
  • Support with continuous improvement activities
  • Work with internal department across the business
  • Ensure health and safety is adhered to

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Driving licence will be essential
  • FLT Counterbalance experience
  • Able to work independently
  • This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Technician / Warehouse Person / Warehouseman
