Senior HR Officer Telford Permanent Salary up to £50,000 + Car Allowance Monday Friday We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Officer to join a growing organisation and play a key role in delivering a professional, commercially focused HR service.

Working as part of a well-established and long serving team, this is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking for a role where they can make a genuine impact, build strong relationships across the organisation and take ownership of a broad range of HR activity.

This is a newly created role, reporting directly to the HR Manager, you will provide trusted HR advice, support managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, and contribute to the continued development of people practices and initiatives.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to

  • You will be responsible for providing a proactive and professional HR service, including:
  • Providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees.
  • Managing a broad range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, performance, wellbeing and flexible working cases.
  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to development, retention and offboarding.
  • Coaching managers and senior colleagues on HR policies, employment legislation and best practice.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records and systems.
  • Supporting recruitment activity, interviews and onboarding.
  • Working closely with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure recruitment and onboarding processes are effective and compliant.
  • Producing HR reports and people metrics to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitoring absence and supporting initiatives around attendance, engagement and employee wellbeing.
