Our client is an established and growing manufacturing business in Telford, now creating this brand‑new Production Planner position to support increasing demand. You’ll be joining a team of four and working closely with the Production Manager, taking ownership of planning and scheduling activities for the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and wants to play a key role in improving workflow, supporting operational performance, and helping a growing organisation continue to deliver high‑quality products on time.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and longer‑term production schedules
- Work closely with production, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure materials and information are available when required
- Monitor capacity, workflow, and resource allocation to support operational targets
- Adjust schedules proactively to manage supply chain challenges, changing priorities, or delays
- Track production performance and highlight risks to deadlines or output
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting enhancements to planning and manufacturing processes
