This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner or Production Planner to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting major OEM customers.
The role will focus on customer demand planning, inventory management, production planning, supplier performance, EDI management, KPI reporting and supply chain analysis, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and on-time delivery performance.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing position requiring strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
The Logistics and Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for: 1.
Managing customer schedules, forecasts and EDI requirements, responding to changing demand and production requirements 2.
Creating and maintaining production plans to support customer delivery schedules and operational efficiency 3.
Analysing supply chain, logistics, inventory and customer data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities 4.
Monitoring and reporting on KPIs including OTIF, inventory levels, supplier performance and service levels 5.
Managing inventory and materials availability to ensure continuity of supply and minimise excess stock 6.
Monitoring supplier performance and escalating supply chain risks where required 7.
Acting as the key customer contact for delivery performance, supply issues and demand changes 8.
Managing customer portals, notifications and performance-related queries 9.
Supporting logistics cost reduction, transport planning and continuous improvement activities 10.
Developing capacity and demand plans to identify potential supply constraints 11.
