Due to continued business growth, our client is looking to recruit an IT Support Technician to provide first-line technical support across the organisation, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, networks and hardware that support day-to-day business activities.

Responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for IT support requests across the business.
Providing timely troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software and network issues.
Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, operating systems and applications.
Monitoring and supporting IT systems, networks and user devices.
Setting up new user accounts, profiles and system access permissions.
Supporting password resets and user access issues.
Assisting with the rollout and implementation of new software and technologies.
Replacing hardware components and carrying out basic repairs where required.
Maintaining accurate IT documentation and knowledge base resources.
Supporting users both remotely and face-to-face, explaining technical issues in a clear and user-friendly way.
Testing and evaluating new technologies and systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
Previous experience within an IT Support, Helpdesk, Desktop Support or similar IT role.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware, peripherals and networking fundamentals.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users of varying technical abilities.
