Prince Personnel are working with a well-established and growing business based in Telford. They are recruiting for an Accountant on a permanent basis. The role reports into the Finance Director and will be the only other finance person in the team, so it will be very hands-on. The role is responsible for assisting senior management in making critical decisions by managing, analysing and presenting key financial data.

You will be responsible for:

  • Accounts payable.
  • Accounts receivable.
  • Credit control.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash requirements.
  • Reviewing and forecasting foreign currency requirements.
  • Completing VAT reporting.
  • Process the monthly payroll, pension payments, P11D and year end reporting.
  • Make sure that spending is in line with budgets.
  • To assist with analysis of the company’s financial performance in view of making longer term forecasts to include the preparation of cashflow forecasts.
  • To recommend ways of cutting costs and continuous improvement.
  • To provide information for audits.
  • To conduct risk assessments and minimise financial risk.
  • To manage the expenses.
