Our well-established Telford client is looking for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you'll work closely with the wider Finance team as well as the rest of the business to provide vital support, ensuring accurate and timely responses and deliverables.
Duties:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including the drafting and posting of journals.
- Assisting with the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the fixed asset registers.
- Responsibility for reporting property costs.
- Assisting with intercompany reconciliations.
- Post and reconcile direct debts.
- Process expenses and credit card expenses.
- Adhere to reporting deadlines.
- National statistics returns.
- Supporting workload for both purchase ledger and credit control.
Skills and Experience:
Experience of using SAP is ESSENTIAL for this role. You will also need to be proficient in MS Office including advanced Excel skills.
