Prince are working with a well-established business who are looking for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. It will be a nice, varied accounts role with scope for progression within the business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring accounts mailboxes
  • Ledger entry and balance
  • Invoicing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monthly billing import
  • Project billing and margin analysis
  • Monthly reports
  • Debt collection
  • Monitor expenses and balance against ledgers
  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Carry out system audits
  • General Payroll administration e.g. assigning labour and mileage to employees, calculate sales commissions

Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will need to have experience of working in a similar role. You will need excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You will need the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position would have experience of knowledge of intercompany accounts.
