This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager or an ambitious Production Supervisor or Shift Manager ready to take the next step in their career. Leading a busy production operation, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll take ownership of production performance, productivity, quality and health & safety, while identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and support the ongoing growth and success of the business. This is a highly visible role that offers both challenge and the opportunity to influence positive change within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating and developing production teams to deliver operational targets and business objectives
  • Driving productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation
  • Monitoring KPIs and production performance, identifying opportunities to improve output, quality and cost efficiency
  • Leading daily production meetings and contributing to wider operational and management reviews
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality and manufacturing standards
  • Supporting workforce planning, training and employee development to build a highly capable and engaged team
  • Analysing operational data and producing management reports to support decision-making
  • Working collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and other departments to drive business performance

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Shift Manager role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop large production teams
  • Strong background in driving operational performance, productivity improvements and continuous improvement activities
  • Experience managing KPIs and achieving targets within a fast-paced manufacturing operation
  • Good understanding of health & safety, quality and best practice manufacturing standards
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to build strong relationships across the business
  • A proactive approach with a passion for developing people and driving operational excellence
