Overview
Supply Chain Planner
Telford
Up to circa Β£33,000 per annum
Enhanced annual leave
37.5 hours Monday β Friday (onsite)

The role will focus around the forecasting and planning activities needed to produce an effective materials and component supply, enabling adherence to the production schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone who has existing experience and knowledge in forecasting/demand planning and robust materials planning skills. Responsibilities
- Producing effective forecasts for materials demand utilising sales data
- Assessing the volume of materials requirements against production planning and planning forecasts
- Reviewing monthly forecasts inline with commercial and sales teams
- Liaising with suppliers regarding forecasts
- Effectively manage stock levels throughout the lifecycle from introduction through to exit
- Ensure maintenance and accuracy of MRP data
- Managing the supplier purchase order process and ensure all PO\βs are progressed
- Working quickly to resolve any material shortages
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Supplier performance evaluations and sourcing new suppliers
Skills and Experience
- Must have previous experience with Supply Chain / material planning / Demand Planning / Supply Analyst / Inventory planning type roles from within a busy manufacturing environment
- Strong forecasting and demand planning experience
- Experience in using MRP software with excellent Excel capabilities
- Experience in developing robust supplier relations
- High attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, strong communication skills
