Salary/Package: Up to £40k per annum (depending on experience)

This organisation is a real success story who have had a number of exciting developments over the last few years. This means they are now at the point where they are ready to bring in an additional person who can work with the existing Quality Engineering team to support both Supplier, Internal and customer quality affairs.

Responsibilities

  • Leading day‑to‑day quality assurance activities within an established quality team
  • Supporting and influencing continuous improvement across manufacturing and engineering processes
  • Taking ownership of non‑conformance investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Supporting audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Driving best practices and preparing to take on wider leadership responsibilities as the role develops into a future Quality Manager position

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Quality Engineering role within an Engineering (ideally metal fabrications) environment
  • Qualified in engineering with to HNC level or above
  • Strong experience of working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing and maintenance of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 systems
  • Customer facing experience
  • Problem‑solving, continuous improvement and quality tools
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to support future leadership growth
