Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts Monday - Friday (Mornings / Afternoons / Nights)

Responsibilities

  • Leading, motivating and engaging production employees on shift
  • Managing performance, absence and disciplinary matters in line with company procedures
  • Planning and managing production throughput to meet operational targets
  • Monitoring and reporting on production performance, implementing corrective actions where required
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shift
  • Ensuring efficient use of machinery, minimising downtime and improving output
  • Maintaining high standards of health & safety, housekeeping and lean manufacturing practices
  • Liaising with production planning to ensure schedules are achieved and labour is allocated effectively
  • Working collaboratively with other shifts to ensure consistency and improvements are implemented
  • Supporting training and development of operators
  • Coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams for planned and reactive works
  • Leading shift meetings and contributing to wider operational meetings

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Production Shift Manager, Shift Leader, Senior Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Team Manager
  • Managing teams within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Driving performance and continuous improvement on the shop floor
  • Analysing production data and implementing process improvements
  • Working with Microsoft Office packages
