Permanent position based in Telford, working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week on a double days rotating shift.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and repairing plant machinery and equipment onsite, including facilities.
- Working on planned and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Attending to breakdowns in a timely fashion and repairing mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment.
- Supporting with the installation of new machinery onsite.
- Fault finding on PLCs.
- Communicating all information thoroughly across all shifts and departments.
- Adhering to all health and safety and environment legislation at all times.
Skills and Experience:
- Multiskilled – ideally electrically biased.
- Electrical qualification would be advantageous.
- Experience fault finding and repairing pneumatics, hydraulics and ideally PLCs and robots.
- Previously worked in a high-volume manufacturing environment such as food manufacturing, FMCG or automotive.
- Suitable for candidates with previous experience in roles such as Multiskilled Maintenance Technician, Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician – Elec Bias, Maintenance Engineer – Elec Bias, or Reliability Engineer.
