We are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Manufacturing/Production client in Telford. As the sole maintenance engineer on site, you will work on both mechanical and electrical breakdowns and support the implementation of new plant equipment. This is a straight permanent position with nice day working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain multiple production lines
  • Work on mechanical and electrical faults
  • Maintain production equipment such as filling machines, labelling machines and packaging equipment
  • React to machine breakdowns
  • Work on planned and preventative maintenance tasks (PPM)
  • Implement a maintenance schedule
  • Support the installation of new plant equipment and machinery
  • Monitor and maintain spares for production machinery

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
  • Must hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician / Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Mech-bias Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Multiskilled Technician
  • Must have a driving licence and own transport due to location
