Our Telford‑based client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team. You will be part of the mechanical assembly department, building complex systems and equipment from detailed engineering drawings and will have the opportunity for international travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Assembling and building mechanical systems and equipment
- Fault finding and diagnosing equipment issues
- Installing equipment and systems at customer locations worldwide
- Working from detailed engineering and technical drawings
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience in mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes
- Previous experience using a variety of mechanical tools and equipment
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and climbing, in line with health and safety guidelines
- Previous experience in a practical/hands‑on role such as Assembly Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Technician or Installation Technician
