While substantial progress has been made, there remains a large programme of ongoing content redevelopment, enhancement, and continuous improvement.
Working within a fast-moving and continually evolving technical environment, this role will play a key part in reviewing, rewriting, updating, and maintaining learning materials to ensure content remains current, accessible, practical, and engaging for learners. This position would suit someone with experience in learning content development, instructional design, digital learning platforms, or technical training coordination who enjoys collaborating with subject matter experts and improving the learner experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, review, rewrite, and continuously improve training materials, online learning content, learner resources, assessments, and supporting documentation.
- Translate complex technical information from subject matter experts into clear, engaging, learner-focused content suitable for a wide range of audiences and experience levels.
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of digital learning programmes and eLearning content across the organisation's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Ensure learning materials remain accurate, up to date, user-friendly, and aligned with evolving industry, technical, and compliance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams, trainers, and stakeholders to gather information and maintain consistency across learning programmes.
- Manage and maintain LMS content, learner resources, course structures, and online materials to ensure a positive learner experience.
- Support the planning and coordination of training activities, online learning delivery, and learner engagement initiatives.
- Monitor learner feedback and training effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
- Provide support and guidance to internal users and trainers regarding LMS functionality and digital learning tools.
- Assist with the creation of internal communications, learner engagement content, and promotional materials relating to learning initiatives.
- Maintain accurate learner records, reporting information, and training documentation in line with organisational procedures.
- Support wider learning and development initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects across the function.
- Previous experience within Learning & Development, training coordination, instructional design, eLearning, or digital content development.
- Strong ability to convert technical or specialist information into accessible, engaging, learner-friendly training materials.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online learning platforms.
- Excellent written communication and content creation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident collaborating with technical specialists, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improving learner engagement and development.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where information, technologies, and learning requirements continue to evolve.
- Experience within a technical, manufacturing, engineering, compliance-led, or regulated environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
