Overview
Prince Personnel are recruiting for an Accountant on a permanent basis. The role reports into the Finance Director and will be the only other finance person in the team so it will be very hands-on. The role is responsible for assisting senior management in making critical decisions by managing, analysing and presenting key financial data.
Responsibilities
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Credit control
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash requirements
- Review and forecast foreign currency requirements
- Complete VAT reporting
- Process monthly payroll, pension payments, P11D and year-end reporting
- Ensure spending is in line with budgets
- Analyse company financial performance and prepare cash-flow forecasts
- Recommend cost-cutting measures and continuous improvement
- Provide information for audits
- Conduct risk assessments and minimise financial risk
- Manage expenses and credit card processes, process mileage claims
- Produce ad-hoc reports, projects and other duties as required
Qualifications
- AAT Level 3 qualified or higher
- Experience in a similar accounting role
- Knowledge of VAT processing
- Proficient in payroll processing, including P11D reporting
- Up to date with applicable legislation
