Sales Executive Telford Permanent £25,000 – £30,000 + Commission Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm We’re looking for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our small but dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and converting conversations into results. If you’re someone who enjoys picking up the phone, asking the right questions, and turning leads into loyal customers, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: * This is a hands-on, telephone-based sales role where your initiative and drive will be key to success. Your responsibilities will include: * Re-engaging lapsed customers to gather commercial insights and explore new quoting opportunities * Researching and identifying new market sectors, generating leads, and initiating conversations to uncover product needs * Following up on inbound leads from the website (quotes, samples, stock enquiries) and coordinating with head office for international orders * Managing sample requests and ensuring timely dispatch via courier or post * Logging all activity in the CRM system, setting follow-up tasks, and maintaining accurate communication records * Chasing outstanding quotes for projects, installations, and recycling services * Supporting general office functions including order processing, stock checks, and customer updates * Providing cover during staff holidays or absences and assisting with ad-hoc admin tasks Skills and Experience * Ideally someone who has experience in a Sales or Telesales environment where you have been used to contact clients with a focus on information or Lead Generation, or closing sales. * A self-starter who can manage their own time and workload with minimal supervision * Someone confident and resilient on the phone—able to reach decision-makers and keep conversations moving * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when quoting and reporting to management * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Previous experience using a CRM system is desirable * Familiarity with SAGE Line 50 is a bonus, but not essential You’ll be working independently in the office initially, so we need someone who is focused, proactive, and not easily distracted. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy and takes pride in delivering results.
