Production Engineer
Location: Telford
Type: Permanent
Salary: £46,000 – £52,000 (Including shift allowance)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday Double Days – Rotating weekly
A well-established global manufacturer located in Telford is looking for a Production Engineer to join their Engineering team.
As their new Production Engineer, you will be supporting on matters relating to new product introduction, product improvement, and new plant equipment. Supporting the Engineering Manager, you will be constantly putting your expertise to good use by driving new product development and introduction onsite and overseas.
There are some exciting and innovative ideas being put into action in this organisation, and you will get to work under an experienced leadership team, providing you with a chance to be exposed to some world-class mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the NPI process and introduction of new plant equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement projects
- Recommending and validating new equipment
- Utilizing problem-solving techniques to address issues and develop resolutions
- Liaising with overseas colleagues on product development
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience within a production-focused role
- Knowledge and understanding of production processes and production lines would be advantageous
- Minimum HNC qualification or above is essential
- Lean or CI experience would be desirable
- This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer / NPI Engineer
