This newly created position reflects the company’s continued investment and commitment to strengthening its Engineering and Technical department. This is a unique opportunity for someone with existing experience in technical standards to join a thriving business where you will be given the opportunity to also be a gate point for technical queries as well as keeping all technical documentation compliant with relevant standards and certifications. As the Technical Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and growth of products within the business during this exciting time. As the Technical Engineer, you will be getting involve in: Serve as the primary contact for technical queries, delivering prompt and accurate responses. Triage and prioritize incoming inquiries based on urgency and complexity. Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve technical issues. Assist with product presentations, demonstrations, and customer visits by providing technical expertise. Stay current on industry trends and developments to enhance product knowledge. Contribute to the creation of technical training materials for both internal teams and customers. Provide feedback and insights to support product development and improvement. Offer product advice and deliver training materials for new or updated products and services. Support customer site visits and meetings, offering technical input as needed. Skills and Experience: Experience and proficiency in maintaining technical documentation Strong problem solving and analytical skills Confident communication skills Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards Engineering biased qualification such as HNC / HND / BTEC / BEng would be advantageous but time -served engineering experience will also be considered The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
