A well-established manufacturer is seeking an experienced Pattern Maker to join its Pattern Shop in Telford. This is a key technical role supporting right-first-time casting, tooling reliability, and continuous improvement across the operations. You will be responsible for producing, maintaining, and improving high-quality pattern and core tooling, working closely with technical, production, and quality teams to support safe, efficient, and sustainable manufacture.

As the Pattern Maker, duties will include:

  • Manufacturing new patterns and core boxes from drawings, CAD data, or existing components
  • Applying correct shrinkage, draft, machining allowances, and core prints
  • Selecting suitable materials including timber, resin, and metal
  • Working to health, safety, and quality standards at all times

Proven experience as a Pattern Maker is required, along with a strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD data. An apprenticeship or formal training is desirable.
