We are seeking a passionate and driven Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to join a well-established engineering organisation celebrated for innovation and growth. This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership role where you'll inspire your team, tackle challenges head-on, and ensure projects are delivered on time, to spec, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
You’ll play a key role in planning and coordinating workloads, solving problems in a fast-paced environment, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. This is a practical, leadership position overseeing a small team within a mechanical and electrical assembly setting, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and responsibility.
As the Mechanical Assembly Supervisor, you will be getting involved in:
- Daily supervision and motivation of a mechanical assembly team
- Planning and managing projects through to completion
- Providing updates and reporting production and project progress on a daily and weekly basis
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to Health & Safety standards
- Mentoring and managing team performance
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a Team Leader / Supervisory role within manufacturing / Assembly environment
- Hands-on mechanical/electrical fitting experience
- Proven ability to deliver projects to tight timescales
- Willingness to travel to customer sites (can be international)
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical discipline ideal but not essential
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
