Are you a time-served Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We have an excellent opportunity to join a successful business where you'll work on a variety of equipment including power presses, hydraulics, and advanced production machinery. This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills to keep operations running smoothly.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Performing planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing Mechanical and electrical faults, including PLC systems
- Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
- Working collaboratively with production teams to ensure efficiency
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Completed apprenticeship in Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- PLC knowledge and electrical fault-finding expertise
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of presses, press tooling, rolling machines, laser cutting, spot welders, powder coating, conveyor systems would be advantageous
- Familiarity with CMMs systems and servo drives
