Are you a time-served Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We have an excellent opportunity to join a successful business where you'll work on a variety of equipment including power presses, hydraulics, and advanced production machinery. This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills to keep operations running smoothly.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Performing planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
  • Diagnosing and repairing Mechanical and electrical faults, including PLC systems
  • Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
  • Working collaboratively with production teams to ensure efficiency

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • Completed apprenticeship in Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or similar)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • PLC knowledge and electrical fault-finding expertise
  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Knowledge of presses, press tooling, rolling machines, laser cutting, spot welders, powder coating, conveyor systems would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with CMMs systems and servo drives
