A well-established Telford manufacturer is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its growing maintenance function. The business is investing in its engineering team and is looking for an engineer with strong fault-finding abilities and a good mix of mechanical and electrical maintenance skills. This role offers varied work across a wide range of production equipment and systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs and breakdown response across a wide range of manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
- Conducting root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and implement effective corrective actions to improve reliability and minimise downtime.
- Supporting the installation, commissioning, testing and relocation of equipment across the manufacturing facility.
- Working on a variety of equipment including CNC turret punches, forming and bending machinery, spinning lathes, foam insulation machines, MIG, TIG and laser welding equipment, testing equipment, effluent treatment systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement, reliability and engineering initiatives.
