Materials Controller Telford Up to circa Β£30,000 per annum Monday β Friday (Full-time) We are working with a successful manufacturing organisation in the Telford area who are looking for a driven Materials Controller to join them and be responsible for coordinating all planning activities relating inbound and outbound materials and finished goods across the site. This company are a stable and well-recognised name within their market, with a growing customer base. The Materials Controller will be responsible for: * Ensuring effective levels of inbound raw materials and finished product * Ensure order cycles and stock levels are sufficient to ensure material availability to meet production demands * Utilise order forecasts to create efficient materials schedules * Ensure purchase orders are raised and placed with suppliers for raw materials and packaging to achieve OTIF availability of materials and packaging * Monitor all work in progress and stock levels for raw materials and finished product * Ensure Materials Schedule meet demand * Monitor supplier performance * Support and escalate where necessary any supply chain issues affecting availability Skills and Experience required: * Previous experience as a Materials Controller / Materials Planner / Materials Scheduler / Supply Chain Planner role within a manufacturing environment * Experience in customer driven , fast paced manufacturing environment * Knowledge and experience of planning in both MS Excel and MRP/ERP systems will be considered * Confident utilising of MS Excel to plan, schedule and analyse materials data The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you if we\’re able to progress with your application within 72 working hours.
