This established manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Production Assembly Operative to join their expanding production team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience assembling products or equipment within a manufacturing environment.

The Production Assembly Operative will be responsible for:

  • Building products from start to finish following drawings and work instructions.
  • Manually assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical components and finished machines at a bench or defined assembly station.
  • Carrying out sub-assembly work and light fabrications using hand and power tools.
  • Ensuring quality and consistency standards are met for all assemblies.
  • Picking parts and materials required for assembly.
  • Packing and labeling finished products for despatch.

We are looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Proven experience in a product assembly role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience assembling mechanical or electro-mechanical products.
  • Confident using a variety of hand and power tools for assembly.
  • Previous experience working at a bench or assembly station.
  • Confident in working from a variety of manufacturing drawings.
