We are working with a prestigious business based in Shrewsbury who are looking for a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis until April 2026, and possible longer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Knowledge of cashbook, processing payment and receipt transactions in Sage 200 and Sage 50
  • Processing expense claims
  • Processing invoices
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices/payments
  • Processing and maintaining petty cash
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

Skills and Experience:

The successful Finance Assistant will need to have had experience of working in a similar role with good all round accounting knowledge. You will need to have an eye for detail and strong communication skills. A basic level of knowledge on Microsoft Excel and Word will also be needed.
