This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing specialist business operating within the construction and building services sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a range of residential and commercial projects.
Working closely with clients, contractors, engineers and internal teams, you will take ownership of projects from design handover through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role would suit a proactive and organised Project Manager with experience gained within construction, building services, M&E, HVAC or a related industry.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Taking full ownership of assigned projects through to successful completion
- Reviewing project documentation and technical information following the design handover stage
- Supporting project planning activities, including programme management, resource allocation and scheduling
- Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Managing site activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements
- Coordinating installation and commissioning activities based across UK sites
- Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions where required to maintain delivery deadlines
- Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Managing subcontractors and site-based teams
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Overseeing procurement requirements and ensuring materials and resources are available when required
- Managing project budgets, forecasting costs and maintaining commercial awareness throughout the project lifecycle
We are looking for someone who has experience in:
- Proven Project Management experience within construction, building services, M&E, HVAC or a similar technical environment
- Site-based construction experience and a strong understanding of project delivery processes
- Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, programmes and resources
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements within a construction environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with clients, contractors and consultants
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A full UK Driving Licence
