This is a permanent opportunity working for a fast-paced and well-established manufacturing organisation that is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Coordinator to support the continued development of their safety management systems across multiple sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in Health & Safety, whether you are already working in a H&S Coordinator/Admin role or currently carrying out H&S responsibilities within another role and looking to specialise.
The Health & Safety Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Carrying out risk assessments, site inspections and audits across multiple locations
- Conducting incident investigations and supporting corrective actions
- Developing, implementing and maintaining safe systems of work
- Monitoring compliance with UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Driving engagement with Health, Safety and wellbeing initiatives
- Managing PPE requirements and ensuring adherence to safety policies across sites
We are looking for someone who has experience in:
- Previous experience in carrying out Health and Safety activities such as completing risk assessments, accident reporting etc
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
- IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
- NEBOSH (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyse data and present clear findings
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment (advantageous)
- A current driving licence
