We are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Manufacturing/Production client in Telford. You will be the sole Maintenance Engineer on site, working on both mechanical and electrical breakdowns, as well as helping with the implementation of new plant equipment. This is a straight permanent position with nice day working hours.
The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Maintaining multiple production lines
- Working on both mechanical and electrical faults
- Maintaining production equipment such as filling machines, labelling machines and packaging equipment
- Reacting to machine breakdowns
- Working on planned and preventative maintenance tasks - PPM
- Implementing a maintenance schedule
- Supporting with the installation of new plant equipment and machinery
- Monitoring and maintaining spares for production machinery
Skills and Experience required:
- Must have mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
- Must hold a NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician / Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Mech-bias Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multiskilled Engineer / Multiskilled Technician
- Must have driving licence and own transport due to location
