This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation based in Telford. They are looking to recruit a Web Developer to support the ongoing development of internal and customer-facing systems. This role offers excellent scope for progression, training and the chance to take real ownership of projects within a supportive environment. This is a great opportunity for a motivated developer with around 1.5+ years experience who enjoys working across the full stack and is keen to further develop their skills in a collaborative team.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining full-stack web applications using JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js and React
- Building and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Working with databases such as MongoDB, SQL Server or similar
- Creating responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5 and CSS3
- Taking ownership of features from concept through to delivery
- Supporting application security, including authentication and secure handling of user data
- Collaborating with the wider team on development projects and continuous improvements
Skills and Experience:
- At least 1.5 years experience in a similar development role such as Junior Developer, Software Developer, Web Developer, Full Stack Developer or similar
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and modern web development practices
- Experience across both frontend and backend development
- Building or contributing to full-stack applications
- Using version control tools such as Git
- Problem-solving with a proactive approach to learning and development
