We are currently recruiting for a well-established global manufacturer in Telford who are looking for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join the business. As the Multiskilled Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for supporting with machine breakdowns, reacting to any mechanical and electrical faults, supporting with preventative maintenance tasks, and equipment installations.

We are looking for someone who is multiskilled, ideally electrically biased with pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC knowledge who has experience working within fast paced manufacturing environments.

The Multiskilled Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing plant machinery and equipment onsite, including facilities
  • Working on planned and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Attending to breakdowns in a timely fashion and repairing mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment
  • Supporting with the installation of new machinery onsite
  • Fault finding on PLCs
  • Communicating all information thoroughly across all shifts and departments
  • Adhering to all health and safety and environment legislation at all times

Skills and Experience

  • Multiskilled, ideally electrically biased
  • Electrical qualification would be advantageous
  • Experience fault finding and repairing pneumatics, hydraulics and ideally PLCs and robots
  • Previously worked in a high-volume manufacturing environment such as food manufacturing, FMCG or Automotive

This role would suit a candidate with previous experience in roles such as Multiskilled Maintenance Technician / Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Technician Elec Bias / Maintenance Engineer Elec Bias / Reliability Engineer.
