Prince Personnel are working with a well-established business based in Church Stretton. Due to a retirement, they are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent contract. The role is 60% purchase ledger and 40% other accounts related tasks. You will be joining a small accounts team.
Duties will include:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Matching and batching invoices
- Arranging payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Resolving queries on both sales and purchase ledger
- Taking orders
- Being the main contact for a complicated account with multiple delivery sites
- Setting up new accounts
- Maintenance of direct debits
- Allocation cash to client accounts
- Issue customer statements monthly or as required by customers
- Manage and maintain customer credit limits
- Chasing debt
- Managing 3rd party providers invoices
- Answering incoming phone calls
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role. Due to the rural location of the business you will also need your own transport.
