Overview
UK and In Territory support for vehicle testing with engineers; Technical Service in Software updating, issue analysis and resolution; General fault finding and issue resolution. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles, dataset calibrations and test equipment. Provide support to other non-engineering functions within Bentley in the form of project status reports or technical information or help. Providing Technical Service to EM/E engineers with Car and Rig Preparation. Test wire and Test Box make up to build the vehicle to spec. Design and build simulation and flash rigs to engineers’ specifications for office work. Part ordering to facilitate test activities.
Responsibilities
- Building and Installing Test Logging Equipment: Design, assemble, and install data logging equipment for testing. Ensure logging systems are functioning correctly and capturing accurate data.
- Fault Finding: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicles, dataset calibrations and test equipment. Implement solutions to rectify identified faults efficiently.
- Software Updates: Perform regular software updates; verify integrity and functionality after updates.
- Dataset Testing and Interrogation: Conduct thorough testing of datasets; analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Front and Rear Radar Calibration: Calibrate radar systems; maintain accuracy and safety standards.
- Night Vision Calibration: Adjust and calibrate night vision systems; conduct performance tests.
- Mono and AEB Camera Calibration: Calibrate cameras; ensure alignment and functionality.
- Top View Calibration: Calibrate top view cameras; ensure coverage and image quality.
- Wheel Swaps: Conduct wheel swaps for winter testing and vehicle testing.
- Fitting and Testing Prototype Parts: Install and test prototype parts; provide feedback and reports.
