We are looking for an experienced M365 Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership across the Microsoft 365 platform within a large enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong expertise in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, Security & Compliance, PowerShell, and DevSecOps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership across Microsoft 365 (M365) services.
- Lead engineering and architecture for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, and Power Platform.
- Define platform architecture, governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Deliver scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Lead platform engineering initiatives, migrations, upgrades, integrations, and service improvements.
- Implement governance, security, and compliance controls across collaboration platforms.
- Drive automation using PowerShell, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams.
- Support Microsoft Copilot, AI adoption, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 Engineering and Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Strong expertise in: SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft 365 Platform.
- Strong experience with Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, Conditional Access, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Sensitivity Labels, Retention Policies, Information Protection, eDiscovery, Identity & Access Management.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership, and mentoring experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Microsoft Purview, Insider Risk Management, Advanced Compliance Solutions, Information Governance.
- Microsoft Copilot for M365, Generative AI within Microsoft ecosystems.
- Experience working in FCA-regulated or highly regulated environments.
- Line-of-Business (LoB) application integrations.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102).
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer (MS-600).
- Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300).
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400).
- Microsoft Security Certifications.
