We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team in Reading, UK. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in billing operations, order processing, and revenue recognition, with hands-on exposure to SAP and Salesforce. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and complete accurate invoicing to meet or exceed billing targets
- Interpret legal agreements of varying complexity and ensure purchase orders meet required standards
- Ensure all Revenue Recognition criteria are met before booking orders
- Troubleshoot and resolve order management and billing issues to support cash collection goals
- Manage internal stakeholder inquiries related to billing processes, controls, and policies
- Adhere strictly to internal controls and compliance policies
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement and process automation initiatives
- Deliver on additional priorities to support billing delivery excellence
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a billing or finance-related environment
- Experience in global billing, preferably within software services or high-tech industries
- Strong working knowledge of billing systems and Microsoft products
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Salesforce (highly desirable)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition
- Experience reviewing legal agreements is an advantage
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with excellent teamwork abilities
