We are looking for an experienced Payments Test Lead to join a leading Banking client in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Payments Testing, Test Leadership, Test Strategy, Test Management, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and end-to-end test delivery across complex banking transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale Payments Testing programs and testing teams.
  • Define and execute Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Governance, and Test Management activities.
  • Drive quality assurance across multiple projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Collaborate with business, development, architecture, and release management teams.
  • Ensure successful execution of Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Component Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Security Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps-aligned testing processes.
  • Manage defect lifecycle, test reporting, stakeholder communication, and release readiness.
