They're looking for an AI Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI applications that will directly shape the future of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full AI lifecycle, from scalable data engineering through to Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and agentic AI workflows.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Designing and building scalable data pipelines using Python, Py Spark, SQL and Databricks
  • Developing AI powered applications using LLMs, embeddings, vector databases and RAG architectures
  • Building prompt engineering workflows, evaluation frameworks and AI guardrails
  • Integrating AI services into customer-facing products and internal platforms
  • Working closely with Product, Data and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact AI solutions
  • Supporting machine learning model deployment and productionisation
  • Implementing monitoring, observability and data quality across AI systems
  • Mentoring junior engineers and helping shape engineering best practice
  • Contributing to the future AI strategy and architecture of the business

What we're Looking For

  • 3-5+ years' experience in AI Engineering, Data Engineering or Machine Learning Engineering
  • Strong commercial experience with Python and SQL
  • Hands on experience with Databricks and modern ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience building production AI or machine learning solutions

• Commercial knowledge of

  • Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Prompt Engineering
  • Embeddings & Vector Search
  • Experience working with Azure or GCP
  • Strong understanding of data engineering, modelling and data quality
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Nice to Have
  • Agentic AI experience
  • Lang Chain, Llama Index or Semantic Kernel
  • Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS or Azure AI Search
  • Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD
