Data & AI Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Data & AI (x2)
Location: London or Manchester (Hybrid, 1-2 days office based)
Salary: Up to £80,000 base + £80,000 OTE (capped at 2× base)
We’re supporting a fast-growing Data & AI consultancy who are looking for two Data & AI Sales Managers. These are new-logo, consultative sales roles where you’ll partner closely with a leading cloud/data vendor and work directly with senior stakeholders across industries.
Responsibilities
- Win new business in Data & AI services (focus on solution building, not product sales)
- Engage with Heads, Directors and C-suite around their data challenges
- Build strong relationships with channel partners and clients
- Drive pipeline growth through proactive hunting and strategic planning
- Collaborate with technical SMEs to shape client solutions
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience in consultative sales OR data/AI consulting with a strong interest in moving into sales
- Comfortable having conversations with senior stakeholders on data & AI challenges
- Awareness of the data platform ecosystem (Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, etc.)
- Proactive, driven and collaborative – thrives in a high-energy, growing team
- Based near London or Manchester, with hybrid working (1-2 days office per week)
Nice to Have
- Existing network or door-openers in Data/AI or relevant industries (FS, Public Sector, Retail/CPG, Health & Life Sciences)
- Channel/vendor relationships (e.g. Databricks)
- Certifications or deeper knowledge in modern data platforms
Package & Progression
- £80,000 base + £80,000 OTE (capped at 2x base)
- Year 1 target: £1.5m-£2m sales order value
- Huge potential to overachieve earnings and grow within a rapidly scaling business
