We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified or part qualified accountant to join a well-established firm of Accountants based in WA3 3DA. The position has arisen due to the growth and ongoing success of the practice, and we are looking to add to our friendly and proactive team. Our firm services clients nationwide and maintains good relationships with the local community. We provide a vast array of services to our clients, and you will have the opportunity to support clients with many aspects of their accounting business requirements, ensuring your work is well-rounded and varied.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory year end accounts for a variety of clients.
- Managing your own portfolio of clients.
- Preparation of management accounts.
- Preparation of VAT returns as and when required.
- Assisting clients with their bookkeeping as and when required.
- Calculating corporate tax liabilities.
Ideally you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong A-Level or degree qualifications.
- Qualified, or Part qualified ACCA.
- Have 3+ years experience working as an Accountant in a general practice environment.
- Feel comfortable and confident contacting clients and building relationships.
- Be confident using Xero and Freeagent bookkeeping packages.
- Be able to work in a team environment demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
