ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- Verify rates and costs at the time of booking receipt to ensure precision, and proceed to place the booking with the shipping partner.
- Organize and coordinate transportation for sea freight shipments as needed.
- Prepare quotations and bookings, converting them into shipments within the Ops system for each export (LCL/FCL).
- Ensure compliance with AEO regulations.
- Issue Master Bill of Lading (MBL) and House Bill of Lading (HBL) for sea shipments, and confirm the Statement of Bill (SOB) with the carrier.
- Arrange for document scanning and notify destination agents about shipment arrivals from Ireland.
- Supervise FCL/LCL import consignments arriving in Ireland.
- Confirm customs clearance requirements and establish customs entry for processing.
- Calculate applicable taxes and provide the client with the import entry.
- Ensure advance payment is received for duty and VAT costs incurred upon arrival.
- Confirm the free time period with carriers to facilitate pickup within the allowed timeframe.
- Schedule hauliers for collection and delivery, ensuring the final Proof of Delivery (POD) is completed.
- Conclude invoicing and expense calculations with the billing team.

- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
