Role
Food Service Teacher - School Chef at Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway.
You must have experience cooking nutritious meals for a daycare center.
Responsibilities
- Preparation, planning, and shopping for all food in the building, including lunch, snacks, and various events that require food.
- Drop off and pick up of elementary school children on the campus buses during the school year (no special license required).
- Manage food service and catering operations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Maintain awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.
- Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director.
- Assist with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control.
- Experience supervising and leading kitchen teams.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production.
Salary Range
$12 to $22 per hour, depending on verifiable experience and credentials.
Shift Schedule
6:45 A. M. – 3:45 P. M., includes transporting children to and from local elementary schools on campus buses (no CDL needed).
