Based at Primrose Hill Primary School, Salford, M5 3PJ, Prestolee Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly organised and effective Trust Office Manager to join our team. This is a fixed-term position for one year, employed by Prestolee Multi Academy Trust and based at Primrose Hill Primary School in Salford.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the school's administrative, financial and office functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school office while supporting the Headteacher and working closely with the Trust's central team.

About You
We are looking for a person who has:
- Experience of managing administrative functions, ideally within a school environment.
- Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- Experience of financial administration, procurement and budget monitoring.
- Knowledge of HR administration, recruitment and payroll processes.
- Strong ICT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- The ability to manage and maintain accurate data and records with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, pupils and external agencies.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and work effectively under pressure.
- A commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above. An NVQ Level 3 in Administration or qualifications in Business, HR or Finance would be advantageous.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the school office, ensuring efficient administrative systems and processes.
- Support financial administration, including purchasing, invoice processing and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Coordinate HR administration, recruitment, absence monitoring, payroll processes and staff training records.
- Maintain the school's Single Central Record and ensure compliance with safeguarding and GDPR requirements.
- Manage school data systems, admissions, attendance and statutory returns.
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Headteacher and senior leadership team.
- Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies, providing a welcoming and professional service.
- Support the organisation of school events and contribute to the smooth running of the school.
