As our Senior Morphology Advisor, you'll play a key role in some of the world's most exciting renewable technology projects, energy transition and electrification. We're passionate about our work and love driving innovation to shape a sustainable future.

In this role, you'll help our clients with their cable projects, making sure everything runs safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards. We are a technical advisory/consultancy firm supporting developers and owners with their green submarine infrastructure throughout the full lifetime of the project.

Anchoring Your Impact

You absorb all aspects related to the (future) behavior of the seabed ensuring that developers and owners of submarine infrastructure make appropriate decisions on the installation and protection of their assets. You will combine your pragmatic, academic and analytical skills to advise, guide and support our clients throughout their project. Your output has a meaningful impact on the risk profile and budget of our clients.

  • You’ll be responsible for modelling morphology and making predictions of future seabed levels and coastal extents, and advise clients on practical implications.
  • You’ll review and assess third parties’ morphology studies.
  • You'll review and assess contractors' work plans, spotting potential issues and suggesting practical solutions.
  • You’ll work with the team to develop and maintain models.
  • You’ll support tendering for new projects by proposing analysis methods and associated time estimates.
  • Use your analytical skills and proactive mindset to learn from past projects and come up with innovative ideas for new challenges.
  • Work closely with clients to address their concerns about cable installation safety and ensure best practices are followed.
You’ve got it:

You have 5‑10 years of relevant experience in the coastal and offshore morphology sector. Experience in the offshore cable / pipeline installation sector is considered a plus. Experience in a consulting/advisory environment is a plus. MATLAB, Python or similar programming language is required. Your academic engineering‑level education ensures you are the go‑to person in your field of expertise; always ahead of the game and constantly on the lookout for more knowledge. A big plus if you love to indulge yourself in sustainability topics.

Your communication skills? We value them highly. From making a difference in owner’s strategies to discussions with authorities, you know how to get your point across and communicate openly. And of course, you can also isolate yourself, put on your headphones, and dive into a challenge. Going the extra mile for the team? You’re the first one to raise your hand. When a project takes an unexpected turn, you don't panic. You quickly weigh the options, make a plan, decide and adapt.
